Benjamin J. Aloia has been appointed to serve as the Republican representative on the three-member Macomb County Jury Commission by the Macomb County Board of Commissioners. His 6 year term expires in 2019. Aloia will be serving along with retired Macomb County Judge Peter J. Maceroni and Leo Lalonde, former chairman of the Macomb County Democrats. The purpose of the Macomb County Jury Commission is to maintain rosters for eligible jurors and to assist with the planning and development of methods to increase jury selection efficiency, broaden citizen participation, modernize jury selection methods and lessen juror inconvenience.
